Description
VOWD is a dating experience built around tailored introductions, with no swiping. The service gets to know each member personally before they join and introduces them to potential matches.
Designing VOWD strengthened my UI/UX skills, particularly in Figma. I built an interactive prototype using component sets and variables to make the design process more efficient. I also developed button interactions, interactive text fields, drop-down menus, and overlays to bring the app’s flows to life.
My next step would be usability testing with a diverse group of potential users. Their feedback would help me identify confusing parts of the prototype and refine its flows. I would also explore subtle animations and micro-interactions to make the interface feel more responsive.
I chose background imagery, a noise texture, and a restrained color palette to convey luxury, exclusivity, and elegance.
Dark, muted tones give the interface a refined feel. The limited palette keeps the design visually simple, while white text creates contrast against the dark background.
